The 2020 NHUG Annual Conference was cancelled due to COVID 19 issues and was postponed to 2021. Following that postponement, the impact of COVID and CDC Guidelines on travel restrictions and limitations for holding conferences was closely monitored for impact on the 2021 NHUG Annual Conference. The ongoing pandemic issues have continued to impose domestic and international travel restrictions and have forced many companies and utilities to limit personnel travel for essential business only. It has also been difficult to coordinate the availability of the speakers for the 2021 Conferences. Even though, the US and most countries have recently relaxed some of the restrictions, it is too late for NHUG to set up and conduct the 2021 Conference. Hence, we regretfully inform the NHUG membership that we have decided to postpone the 2021 Conference to 2022. The 2022 NHUG Annual Conference will be held on August 17-19, 2022 at the JW Marriott, Washington DC. Hotel reservation information will be provided around December 1, 2021- January 30, 2022. Since NHUG values sharing of ideas and operating experiences, NHUG is trying to investigate a virtual platform for short meetings and forum sessions. Please stay posted and visit the website for any updates.
